Dave Howard, Principal - Fund Manager

Dave joins Green Leaf Partners with over 23 years of institutional real estate investment experience. He will have primary responsibility for institutional investor relations and fund and asset management.

Prior to Green Leaf, he spent 16 years at McMorgan & Company, a pension fund advisor that invested on a discretionary basis in stocks, fixed income securities, and real estate. For the past five years, Dave directed all aspects of McMorgan’s $1.7 Billion real estate practice as head of the Real Estate Group. In that capacity, he was responsible for all acquisitions, dispositions, portfolio and asset management, reporting, and client relations. During his last five years there, Dave also developed the McMorgan Institutional Real Estate Fund, raising and investing approximately $1 Billion in diverse investments in most major markets across the U.S. Prior to McMorgan, he spent seven years with Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate (now CB Richard Ellis) in commercial property sales and leasing.

Dave holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
